Who I am
I write and run this blog myself, Rafael A. Gómez Sánchez, from Tampa, Florida. For anything about your information, write to me through the Contact page.
What I collect and why
Contact form. Your first name, last name, email and message. I use them only to answer you. I do not sell them or share them with anyone.
Comments. If you comment, the name, email and website you enter, the comment and your IP address are stored. A spam filter checks them to stop spam. Your email is never published.
The chat assistant. What you write in the chat is stored on this blog’s server, together with technical data (IP address, browser, language and the page you write from), so it can answer you and prevent abuse. The answers are generated by an artificial intelligence service that Digital Checkmark runs for this site, which receives your messages to answer them. If you ask to talk to me, the chat asks for your name and email so I can reply; those are deleted after 90 days. Please do not share anything in the chat that could identify you or put you at risk.
Security
The site runs through Cloudflare, which protects it from attacks and makes it faster, and uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that you are a person. Cloudflare handles technical data such as your IP address under its own privacy policy.
Cookies
I do not use advertising or analytics tools. The site stores one cookie to remember your language, and the chat uses your browser’s storage to keep the conversation open.
Your rights
You can ask me what information of yours I have, and ask me to correct it or delete it, by writing to me through the Contact page.
